Our denture design process is underpinned by achieving outstanding functionality and aesthetic results for our patients.

With something as important as your smile, there’s no compromise on quality – after all, it’s something you will wear every day for years to come!

What are dentures?

Dentures are a set of false teeth, which can be created for teeth missing on the top or bottom row of your smile. Dentures are traditionally made of an acrylic or chrome base which sits over the top of the gums and a set of false teeth.

Why dentures?

In the vast majority of cases, it’s hugely in the interests of our patients to replace missing teeth. Leaving gaps in your smile can cause your oral health to spiral and bring about a dip in confidence levels and self-esteem.

Reliable and economical solution

Dentures have stood the test of time, and it’s no surprise why. They are a highly reliable and cost-effective way of replacing a high number of missing teeth.

No more limitations on your diet.

If you’ve been living with missing teeth for a while, you will likely be familiar with the distress that can come with having to cut out certain foods.

With your new dentures, you’ll have the freedom to eat all kinds of foods and no longer feel the frustration of having to limit your diet.

Speak confidently and clearly.

Even the loss of a single tooth can affect speech and pronunciation. Your new dentures will reverse speech impediments and involuntary inflexions, giving you the confidence to speak confidently around friends, loved ones and colleagues.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do dentures stay in place?

Dentures stay in position with either suction or with the help of an adhesive.

Suction is achieved by the denture base sitting closely against the gum line. Saliva creates a vacuum that seals the dentures in place. You will be able to remove the dentures for cleaning easily.

How many teeth can dentures replace?

Dentures can be fitted as either a partial set or a full set, replacing either several missing teeth or a whole mouth of missing teeth.
